At Rotary District 3780’s Recognition Night, the Rotary Club of New Manila East (RCNME) marked a defining moment in its 40th Ruby Year—not merely celebrating the “Magic of Rotary,” but embodying the Magis, the Ignatian call to strive for more, to serve more deeply, and to lead with greater purpose.
Guided by the transformative leadership of President Karlo Benjamin Nisce, RCNME earned 34 Excellence Awards, headlined by the prestigious Outstanding Rotary Club – Platinum Distinction. President Nisce was likewise named Outstanding President with Platinum Distinction, affirming a year where vision met execution, and tradition gave rise to bold innovation.

RCNME’s award haul includes:
9 Platinum Awards
11 Gold Awards
6 Silver Awards
8 Individual Citations, including dual Outstanding Rotarian of the Year honors
From launching twin Global Grants in the Philippines and South Korea worth a combined value of USD75,000 to excelling in peace building, vocational service, public image, and international engagement, RCNME turned its Ruby milestone into a mission - one that reflects not just excellence, but impact.
This was not just a year of magic. Under President Nisce, it was a year of Magis.
