RCNME Champions Leadership Excellence in Baguio City: A Landmark District Seminar
4/4/2025
In a momentous gathering held on April 5, 2025, the Rotary Club of New Manila East (RCNME) led the charge in shaping the next generation of Rotary leaders, hosting a powerful District 3780 Leadership Seminar at the John Hay Convention Center in Baguio City. The event, organized under the leadership of President Karlo Benjamin Nisce, together with Immediate Past President Marlon Mañaol and Past District Secretary Bong Cruz, was a highlight of RCNME’s Ruby Year, cementing its role not only as a club of service, but as a hub for transformational leadership.
More than just an annual seminar, it became a masterclass in Rotary values and visionary governance. Participants across District 3780 were treated to inspiring sessions from two powerhouse speakers outside the district: Assistant Governor Raul Del Rosario of District 3830 and Past District Governor Oyan Villanueva of District 3790. Their insights on servant leadership, organizational excellence, and resilience in Rotary work resonated deeply with the room of emerging leaders.
The program was further elevated by the presence of Rotary International President’s Representative Kim Ho Taek from District 3680, South Korea. His presence symbolized Rotary’s global unity and commitment to nurturing capable, compassionate leaders. In his keynote message, PRIP Rep. Kim praised District 3780’s dynamism and lauded RCNME for its impactful initiatives and exemplary leadership.
The seminar, held before the Rotary District Conference, stood out not only for its content, but for the spirit it cultivated: fellowship, collaboration, and an eagerness to carry forward the legacy of service. Attendees left with not just tools and strategies, but a renewed passion to lead with empathy, purpose, and courage. Through this seminar, RCNME did not just educate, it inspired.
