Recognizing Service: COPS Honorees Visit Key Pillars of Government

This year’s Country’s Outstanding Police Officers in Service (COPS) Awardees: PMSg Ivan A. Velasco, PMAJ Elmira A. Relox, and PCOL Frederick E. Obar, were honored with courtesy visits to several key government institutions, including the Philippine National Police (PNP), the House of Representatives, the Supreme Court, and the Senate of the Philippines. These visits were held in conjunction with their recognition as part of the Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos.

The series of visits served not only as a celebration of their exemplary service but also as a reaffirmation of the values of courage, integrity, and dedication that these officers embody. Each stop highlighted the vital role that police officers play in nation-building and showcased the importance of fostering closer ties between civic organizations and government bodies.

Representing the Rotary Club of New Manila East were Dir. Jian Anisco, Dir. Dave Buenviaje, IPP Karlo Nisce, PE Jan Cabugawan, and UFG Pres. Jumi Borlaza. Their presence underscored the Club’s continued commitment to honoring public servants who exemplify outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to the Filipino people.
