The Rotary Club of New Manila East (RCNME) hosted a special evening dedicated to honoring the spouses of its members, recognizing their invaluable role in the club’s continued success. Far beyond being supportive partners, they are the foundation of encouragement and strength that enable Rotarians to sustain and expand their service initiatives within the community.

Led by First Lady Myra Borlaza, the gathering brought together spouses for an evening of appreciation, fellowship, and meaningful connection. Guests were treated to a thoughtfully curated seafood and steak dinner, complemented by soulful live music that created a warm, elegant, and welcoming atmosphere. The event provided a meaningful space to strengthen relationships, deepen camaraderie, and celebrate the shared commitment to service that extends beyond individual club membership.

While the evening carried a festive spirit, it also served a deeper purpose. The event functioned as a fundraiser in support of the club’s upcoming Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Project at Toro Hills Elementary School, the adopted school of RCNME. Proceeds will help provide essential hygiene education and resources, contributing to improved health and more sustainable learning environments for students.

Blending gratitude, fellowship, and purpose, the event highlighted the essential role of family support in advancing Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self,” while reinforcing the club’s commitment to meaningful and lasting community impact.
